Fool's Gold puzzles can be crafted in
a variety of sizes. To the right are some suggested dimensions. If you desire a different sized puzzle, I will be happy to quote you what it would cost.
Please note, the total number of pieces and dimensions shown are approximate. The Fool's Gold Nugget Series, those depicted with an "A" in the number, do not include any Foolish Figural pieces other than our signature "fool."
Puzzle Possibilities
Jigsaw puzzles do not always have to have straight edges all around its border. If we look to the right at Clown Anemone Fish, one could imagine a puzzle with an irregular shaped upper border (deleting the dark area).
Why would anyone want to do this?
Remember, Fool's Gold puzzles do not include any finished picture to help guide the assembler. With that itself, they are very challenging. But when you add irregular edges into the mix, whew, the challenge level increases dramatically. And that's just fun!

Christopher J. Crowley
Chris Crowley lives near the Connecticut River in Orford, New Hampshire, next to a one-acre pond that is a magnet for local wildlife. Chris is a research engineer by vocation and an underwater photographer by avocation. He has more than 1,000 scuba dives under his weight belt in locations such as Indonesia, the Galápagos Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Yap, and many Caribbean sites. During surface intervals between dives, he might be trekking with chimpanzees in Tanzania or gorillas in the Congo, exploring the Peruvian rain forest, or participating in an Earthwatch Institute program to study lemurs in Madagascar.
His articles and images have appeared in national and international dive magazines such as Skin Diver, Sport Diver, Scuba Diver Australasia, and Alert Diver, as well as a guidebook to sea slugs of the Indo-Pacific region. He was among the first divers to photograph a brand new species of frogfish on the island of Ambon in Indonesia. Magazines (Nature Photographer, Northern Woodlands, and Natural New England Magazine), textbooks, a calendar, and a Nature Conservancy poster have published his wildlife images.
Here are a few images of Christopher Crowley's beautiful underwater photography that can be crafted into a puzzle for you. Puzzle sizes and piece count are approximate. If you would like a different size puzzle crafted, just let us know.
