 HOW TO ORDER
Ordering a wooden jigsaw puzzle is easy. You may order a Fool's Gold puzzle online, by phone, or by mail.
The Puzzle (on Fool's Gold Web site)
Have you selected a puzzle displayed on our website? If yes, you have the following purchase options:
You may mail us your request and send payment to Fool's Gold, P.O. Box 904, Harrisville, NH 03450. We'll cover the cost of shipping you the puzzle via USPS Priority (a 2-3 day service). If you live outside of the Continental U.S. or would like your puzzle shipped a different way, just let us know and we can give you some other options and costs.
You may email us your request at puzzles@foolsgoldpuzzles.com with the puzzle's title and item code number. Once we receive your payment via a personal check, Money Order, Cashier's Check, or the necessary credit card information, we will begin crafting your puzzle. In your correspondence, please include your ship-to address and telephone number.

You may also order puzzles online and pay securely with your credit card via PayPal® by clicking the "ADD TO CART" button next to the puzzle. Fool's Gold will immediately be notified (via email) of your request. Note: you can pay with a credit card through PayPal, even if you do not have an account set up with them. |
The Puzzle (not on Fool's Gold website)
Do you have a photograph or piece of artwork you would like to have crafted into a jigsaw puzzle? Great! This is more typical of what we do. It's a lot of fun (for the giver and the receiver) to have a jigsaw puzzle specially personalized.
First, we need to determine the size of the puzzle you would like, and/or the price point you would like to be in. Let's look at the following chart.

You'll see that puzzles can vary in size; from 4" x 6" on up to 36" x 48". Custom puzzles are priced at approximately $2.95 per piece. Sometimes the cost is a bit more for the larger sized puzzles (which take into consideration the extra effort of crafting and handling a larger size puzzle.)
Typically there are two puzzle pieces cut per square inch. If you would like a certain size puzzle with less than two pieces per square inch, not a problem. Just call or email puzzles@foolsgoldpuzzles.com and we can determine what can be done. This scenario occurs quite a lot with the wedding/anniversary puzzles. (A larger size with less piece count).
So, if you are interested in a different size or puzzle piece count than what's displayed in the chart above, no problem, we can work out a cost for you.

All Fool's Gold puzzles are packaged inside a liquid gold lamé pouch and then fitted into a beautifully crafted custom black box. No picture is included ofthe final image. We think puzzles should be challenging (as well as beautiful!). |
The Payment
Fool's Gold accepts personal checks, Money Orders, or Cashier's Checks. You can also order securely online with your credit card through PayPal®. PayPal does accept a wide variety of credit cards, debit cards, and funds drawn on your bank account.
When we receive your payment, we'll start crafting your puzzle and ship it right out to you. Fool's Gold will pick up the cost of USPS Priority shipping (typically a 2-3 day delivery service to you) for your online puzzle order at www.foolsgoldpuzzles.com. If you ordered a special custom puzzle (not on our website), live outside of the Continental U.S., or would like your puzzle shipped a different way, just let us know and we can give you some other options and costs.

The Possibilities
Fool's Gold wooden jigsaw puzzles are hand cut to order. Except for our smaller "Nugget Series" puzzles, we can personalize your puzzle with names, dates, and other Foolish Figurals (see column at left). There is no extra charge for this service. If you'd like us to choose some figure pieces for you based on the puzzle image, we can also do that too.

The Pressure
Handcut wooden jigsaw puzzles take time to craft! We will always do our best to meet your time schedule, but especially around the holidays, please allow sufficient time for
us to craft your puzzle. Typically 2-3 weeks is the minimum time required once the
jigsaw blade starts going!
